Inclusion of updates on Medical Biotechnology in Medical Curriculum
Group: 1

Review of the existing course curriculum was considered by the group. It was agreed that most of the basic concepts related to biotechnology is covered by the syllabus under microbiology, pathology, biochemistry, forensic medicine…. It is felt that the chapters relevant to Biotechnology (BT) should be given more importance. There is no need to overload the syllabus.
